I disagree, I live in Evergreen and gave this place a few tries, I have been disappointed very single time. A few of my neighbors and friends drive to Pita Stop, not the greatest but it's better than Donair Grill.Originally posted by HomespunLobster

Will never go their again with Sammys and Donair Place so close by.
That's what I thought too, but just to make sure I got their name right, I searched on the web, and I guess it's just their website that is called that.Originally posted by Graham_A_M

I usually go there at least once every 2 weeks. They have a special that's been going on for a while now that from 4-7pm, their donairs are $6.99, so save $1. It's very good with the garlic sauce, sweet sauce, and a little bit of hot sauce.
The chicken schwarma is good too, and the kebab. I haven't tried anything else.
Oooh forgot... uncle moe's Edmonton trail in the strip mall south of the hotel at McKnight...
Buffalo donairs are fricken tasty man beef / Schwarma is better than average, but nothing I'd drive across town for...

Still prefer Calgary Schwarma - its all about the sunshine sauce man... more places need this stuff...

It used to be uncle moes, now it's donair hut or something.
Donairs aren't that bad there. They started strong, went to shit, but are now getting better everytime I eat there
Shawarma Palace on 17th ave se (used to be shawarma knights) is worth the 30 min drive for me
I haven't seen his daughter so I can't comment on that, but their donairs are really good. I go there quite abit.Originally posted by Clever
I haven't been to the Westbrook one in ages, but I think their Donair's are the best, the daughter is pretty hot too so it was an added incentive to go there.
pita grill is soooo good! i was just there. the only down side was that i waited 20 mins for my chicken shawarma; it was worth the wait, though!

I get a lot of people telling me that Jimmy's A&A is the best, but I feel like there MUST be better.
Jimmy's is good, but I think it pales in comparison to some of the donair places in Edmonton. The Edmonton places give you crispier, tastier meat with a better sweet sauce too, in my opinion. And this is hard for me to admit, because I generally love anything Calgary-related way more than Edmonton
Any recommendations?
Thanks guys!!

I really like Jimmy's, but shwarma knights is pretty good.
our current favorite is My Donair in Castleridge, convenient for us since it's a 5min drive from the Westwind station so we probably have it once a week for dinner.
I don't remember Jimmy, must have been years since I've had one but always found not great, just ok.
Might have to try it again though

The last post in that thread was from over two years ago. Things have a tendency of changing in two years. Like restaurants going out of business, new restaurants opening, or restaurants sucking.
Sweet, thanks for the input!Originally posted by sneek

A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.
