I still love the FD.

But if these turn out to be pretty sweet (as in they do a good job, like with the GTR) I'll buy one when I get out of school (hopefully around 2011...)

However, they probably won't, and I'll just stick with my FD dreams

Can you imagine how much better the RX-8 would be if they threw the 2.3L turbo engine in it? Torque and power to the rear wheels FTW. Mazda should just leave rotary technology to the only thing it's good for and that's low capacity pumps not engines. Time to move on.

I like the RX-8 styling myself, but this thing is hideous, although I highly doubt it will look like that when it comes out.

I love the fc the most, fd second and rx8 third and hate this new abomination. Mazda shoulda kept bringing rotory goodness to North America until they stopped producing it like in Japan...It would of kept the prices of lhd models down somewhat now we will be flooded with riced out jdm models.....

This is a step in the right direction engine wise but looks wise wow did they ever drop the ball on this one...They need to bring back the Cosmo if anything.

It looks good but they shouldn't name it RX-7...

Looks like they could call it the RX-9 Hybrid. It also looks a bit like a Maserati/Fisker/Tesla ripoff.
