Cheap Flights to Belize

OK I'm usually pretty good at this stuff, but I can't seem to find a decent deal on this flight

Depart Calgary: May 22-23-24

Depart Belize City: June 1-2



Best deal I can find is 848+ taxes = $1016.00

I've looked on:
Travelocity
Orbits
Red Tag
Vayama
Canoe
Ultimate Fares
etc.. etc.. etc..

Its the weekend and I haven't got on the phone to start calling travel agents yet, but I will Monday.

---> Anyone know where I can find a better deal?

Suggestions?

I'm now looking at flying to Cancun as flights are way cheaper and taking the bus down to Chetumal then to Belize... But would still much rather fly direct

After a few weeks of searching the tickets just got more and more expensive.


The last week of May is a terrible time to book a flight to Belize.

If I wait until the 2nd week of June flights are half price!







So I booked er all through my airmiles, i have an overnight in Miami on the way back, but I saved 800 dollars.




If anyone's interested heres what I will be doing in Belize:

Depends on how long in advance you book.

Scored Vancouver to New Zealand for $691, well over $1000 now for flights 4 months away.

Booking a month away will always be substantially higher.

Enjoy your trip man, it will be epic!

i just got back from belize and let me tell u , flights are just not cheap . we looked for a long time and the cheapest we got was $1100 return .. which was worth it after the trip

I found one for just over a grand with taxes in as stated above in my first post... But holy christ 27 hours flight both ways!

Expedia is showing flights starting at $1029 with all taxes/fees but it takes 24 hours. For $1042 you can get there in 14 hours. Paying an extra few bucks to avoid sittting around airports is definately worth it.

add hotel etc... to that flight if you dont feel like sleeping in the airport and it aint so cheap anymore

Try booking your air in 2 different segments. Book Calgary to Houston return. Then search for Houston to Belize return as well, try and pair them up.
