This is only my guess. It all seems to be tied into the rusted angle iron on the doors. I personally think it is a wack hydraulic set up for automatic Lambo Doors. Looks like a ram and a dump on the roof for each door.

I saw this thing parked, so I got a pretty good look at it. The two posts are hooked up to a big red tank in the back of the car. (think compressed air) I couldn't figure out what it was for though.
