    only Koodo phones work with koodo. Technically, you CAN use bell phones and telus phones, but they just won't let you activate anything but a koodo phone on their lines.

    That's the shitty thing with CDMA, they control which phones they will activate which will obvioulsy be their own branded phones. With GSM, you can unlock your phone and simply place your sim card with any provider and it should work.

    Didn't realize they were CDMA but I checked out their price plans and such just to see if it were cheaper than what I currently have with Rogers and it isn't. They claim you don't pay system access fees but their price plans seem higher. In the end, I don't see a benefit in switching to Koodo.

    .....here's what I did. Call rogers, ask for customer relations and talk to them about the plans Koodo offers. By talking to them I got an amazing plan and a sweet phone. This was just last week. Give it a try
