Default Q: changing pot lights with 20ft high ceilings

Can anyone recommend a good 'tool' to use to change burnt out pot lights on 20ft high ceilings?
I've tried buying something from canadian tire before, but it didn't seem to work.

Maybe I brought the wrong brand... anyone have good recommendations? I don't even know what those things are called... haha

oh whoops, btw, i'm just too lazy to do the whole ladder thing. (yes I'm THAT lazy, you have no idea).

    thanks!

I assume you mean "pot" lights. Home Depot & Rona both sell a special tool used specifically for changing lamps that are too high up to reach. There are several different variations but one of them is basically a suction cup at the end of a telescopic pole. Go to the electrical department. Hope this helps.

They've had these things for awhile now that can do it. In fact, I think the Egyptians even used them.

    Now what are they again...

    Oh right, a fucking ladder.

Buy extension pole, buy the suction cup thing from Home Depot (you can find the pole and the suction cup thing in the paint department), change bulb, enjoy.
