SLK roof?

i was looking at a SLK 230 last night and i have a question...

how the hell do you get the roof down??? i pulled the switch and all it did was flash at me!!

Open the trunk, the liner has to be in place with nothing on top of it, or the light will just blink and the roof wont go down.

ohhhh that must've been it... nice check engine light, the one i looked at had the same problem!!

haha. I had the check engine light on my SLK 230 a few times, but that was due to going to a touchless car wash (co-op). The SLK 230's get wet somewhere with those high pressure washes, and the car goes nuts until it dries, with the check engine light staying on for about 4 or 5 days. I owned the car for almost 4 years and could never find what got wet during those washes hehe.
