2011 NSX prototype hits the Nurburgring
The latest prototype of the 2011 Acura NSX has finally hit the Nürburgring and it's looking — and sounding — better than ever. Unlike the previous prototypes — which were nothing more than cobbled-together test mules built from the S2000 platform — this NSX has bodywork that looks close to production specification.

Looks like they're actually going to try to make it a competitor with the real supercars this time. They have a lot of work to do if they are still trailing the GT-R by 8 seconds on the Nurburgring though.

Not sure about V10 mounted in the front. But it's going to take Honda to a new level! I'll have to see it with my own eyes before I believe it'll out-track a GTR though.

Not to mention with a couple mods the GTR would have a lot more head room for power.

Although the design of the original concept didn't get favorable reviews, it appears as though Acura has stuck with similar styling for the production car.
