    Default Breaking a Mk1 MR2

I am stripping a 1986 MR2 this weekend. I'm only keeping the car as long as it takes to get the parts I want off of it. If anyone needs MK1 parts let me know and if they are available I can take them off the car and we can work out a sale. Let me know!

For reference I am planning on keeping the dash, throttle and speedo cables, trunk lid, hood, engine head, intake and exhaust, and side skirts. Someone has already expressed interest in the drivers door.

Parts worth saving after initial lookover: Headlights (motors seem a little slow, but they work), front bumper, headliner, sunroof, engine lid, side vent, doors (just the metal, interior is trash), centre armrest, radio/hvac trim. Probably a lot more, just cant think of it right now.

If you want parts, act fast! Reply here or shoot me a pm.

    Cheers,
    Berg

I need all kinds of stuff, but I'm not sure what's compatible with early/late year cars. Can I just come have a look?
    WTB:
87+ AW11 ds valence panel, ds fender, rear visor. Burgundy interior parts as well.
    7th gen Celica antenna assembly

    Please PM me, thanks!

By all means! Friday night, or the either day of the weekend during the day works for me!

Most of it will be compatable. As far as I know the only differences early/late are: side view mirrors painted to match car, rear speakers added, larger brakes fitted, different side scoop, rear spoiler slightly different, rear sway bar. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Both doors now available (metal is good, interior is trashed)

    Cheers,
    Berg

    Update!

Ok so here are some parts no longer available. If you need anything feel free to send me a PM or reply here. I will have the car for less than one week!

    Sunroof
    Sunroof sun shield
    Headliner
    Rear window
    Rear side window
    Armrest
    Space saver spare
    Toyo tires
    Headlight assemblies
    Hood
    Tail lights
    Licence plate surround
    Front side parking lights
    Trunk lid
    Steering rack
    E-brake cables
    Upper half of engine
    Throttle and speedo cables
    Side view mirrors

NA Engine lid with hinges and prop - sale pending

Some parts that look to be in good condition that are still available:

Body panels eithre side of engine lid
    Doors
    Heater controls
Heater control and radio trim piece (single din style)
Interior trim (both A pillar covers no damage, trim above doors, trim around all three rear windows, all without damage)
    Firewall carpet behind the seats

I havent dug into behind the dash yet but im sure that most of the heating system is good (probably some wear on the motor and heater core).

It's also worth noting that the trim and capet are black.

Carpet on passenger side is dirty, but salvageable, free to anyone who wants to pick it up. Drivers seat is worn but all the mechanics in it work. Passenger seat is a little faded, but no obvious tears (at least I didnt find any). Seats are free with pickup, but I would want to either keep the rails or sell them.

I'm sure that there are some parts I havent listed. Let me know what you need! Pictures upon request.

    Cheers
