Does anyone what the rough price range is for a Harry Rosen made-to-measure suit is? Also, any idea how long it takes to make one, from first measurement to final suit.

Yes, I have a Hairy Rosen
I think they were pretty inexpensive.. around $900-$1000. In that area.
Guess who's back... tell some men.
It all depends on what manufacture you want to go with. Coppley a Canadian brand will start at about the 900 mark. The Italian brands like Armani and pal zaleri start about the 2500 mark. Pm me if you have any questions I have done a couple 3 piece MTM suits where I work at I can answer any other question you may have.Originally posted by holden

At $900-$2500 you would be better off going to Thailand and getting like 4 or 5 good suits made and get your self a good massage
You can always point out a made to measure suit coming from Thailand or China. At the end of the day a good suit that fits you dead on is a good investmentOriginally posted by brown_guy

you suck at funny.
Was not trying to be funny its the truth...It would be cheaper to go and get it made in thailand....even with the flight and the massage would just be plus .....Filght = $1000 if you get a good deal...... suit made to measure in thailand is cheap ...from $75 for a cheap one to $300 for a good one with custom shirts and tie's.... and only diff is you pay a lot less get the same quality and looks...Originally posted by ZorroAMG

Cheap = cheap material, cheap construction, cheap lining and tailors that will build you an 80's double breasted thinking it's still hip.
You get what you pay for when it comes to suits.
PS who the eff flies to thailand for suits? If I were to fly anywhere for suits, it'll be milan.
Rod Roddy of course...he got all his suits from his friend in Thailand.Originally posted by ZorroAMG

I'm not a suit wearing guy, so how does it work? I for example wouldn't wear the same pants to work 2x in a week, so do you need a new suit every day of the week, if not 2 weeks.. And even then since its a complete suit, don't people notice you wear the same thing all the time? Change your shirt colour I guess in some cases, but.. yeah....
My made to measure suit cost $1200 bucks. Fits great and they will do free adjustments if you lose weight or get fatter (within reason of course).
I think my suit took about 3-4 weeks to make.
You can customize everything. For example, I don't see many suits with working buttons on the sleeves (surgical sleeves). You can also choose your lining - I didn't care so I took a more subtle color.
thanks for the info
If you can't really afford to have a closet full of suits (like I can't) just get 4-5 that are basic colors (grey, black, navy, etc) so your suits look fairly generic. Stay away from suits with distinctive patterns/pinstripes so your suit isn't easily recognizable as the one you wore last Tuesday...Originally posted by Supa Dexta

And of course, like you said change the shirt and tie and you're fine.

Wait for Maxwell to get into town and hit him up. I think he's like 300ish for a tailored suit and does shirts etc. Only downside is that you have to wait for a bit for them to get done and delievered.
