Default Charged with murder; which lawyer would you hire?

Lets say hypothetically you are charged with murder in Calgary; money is no object. Who would you retain to defend you? Looking to hear from people with experience or knowledge who they think the best criminal defense lawyer in our city is. Lets hear it!!

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

    Who did you kill?

Was it an accident, or did you plan it?

The only way this won't turn out in win, is if he is just a lawyer hoping his name comes up.. But even then, I'm sure there would be some fun.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate two
    separate and unrelated suspicious deaths.

    On Saturday, June 28, 2008, at approximately 3:40 a.m.,
officers responded to a complaint at a restaurant in the 2100
    block of Centre Street North.

    CPS members located two male victims within the restaurant;
each requiring medical attention. Both men were transported
to hospital by the City of Calgary Emergency Medical
Services. One man was pronounced deceased at the hospital and
the second man is reported to be in stable condition.

As a result of this suspicious death, members of the Calgary
Police Service Homicide Unit are investigating. An autopsy on
the victim has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m., today, Monday,
June 30, 2008. As this procedure takes several hours, it is
unlikely the victim’s name or the cause of death will be
    released today.

    On Sunday, June 29, 2008, at approximately 2:20 p.m.,
officers responded to a complaint in the 11400 block of
    Braniff Road S.W.

Inside the home, officers discovered the body of a deceased
man. As a result of this suspicious death, members of the
Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit are investigating.

An autopsy on the victim is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2,
    2008.

No further details on either suspicious death will be
released pending the autopsies and the conclusions from the
Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

No one is in custody in connection with either suspicious
death and no charges have been laid.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to
call the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234 or Calgary
Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222 –TIPS (8477).

Just turn youself in at the police station wearing nothing but a diaper, a goalie mask and pushing a cradle full of shredded up newspaper while reciting passages of the Koran. That way any lawyer in the city should be able to get you off on insanity.
