Hasn't the Toronto force been notorious for this kind of BS?

It's true, I was there for both of them. One was super nice and the one in Calgary told me (who wasn't even involved at all or even in the same car, just pulled over as well cause we were headed to the same place) that "he's had a long shift and a real bad day and your buddy is getting the biggest ticket I can give him because he pissed me off and if you want one too just open your mouth.".

Of course, I called his bluff and he didn't give me a thing because he know he couldn't but that didn't stop him from giving toastie waaaaay more than he deserved.

well there is the human element to any job, emotions and mood its unfortunate that people sometimes channel that into their professional lives.

That being said, I can say I havent done that before and let emotion 'alter' my judgement, its human nature.

People should remember that they likely work with a thief and just don't know it. Some "pillar of society" their family knows is likely a closet molester/rapist/child porn freak. Someone they respect likely abuses their wife behind closed doors or secretly sells drugs to pay for their gambling addiction. And on, and on, and on.

There are losers and degenerates in every job and every walk of life because those jobs are all filled by PEOPLE, not machines.

EDIT - Hell, some people with fancy badges likely have to sneak in and edit their post three times because they type faster than they spell.....

Yeah I ended up getting a $400 ticket instead of a speeding ticket since they didn't have laser/radar.

Needless to say I wasn't too happy, before anyone flames me I was speeding I admit that.

One thing that has always pissed me off when getting pulled over is getting treated like I am the scum of the earth for speeding. I am not a pedophile rapist I am exceeding the speed limit, imo there is a difference. I work with people all day at my job and have several douche bags in a day and strive to keep my level of service consistant. Police should do the same.

It doesnt matter how corrupt the local police or rcmp is (which they definetely are). Dozens of grow houses running for more than 2 years will stand out.
