    51 MPG US

1998 Dodge Neon DOHC 5 speed.

Drove from Calgary to Rocky Mountain House and back and drove the rest of the work week on the same tank. I ended up driving 650 km on 30 L. I still have the receipt from when I filled back up and logged my kilometers. With the original engine I used to average 35 MPG in the city and 40-45 on the highway. With the new engine I average 28 MPG in the city and 35 on the highway.

I have no idea how that got posted by cfish since my laptop sits at home all the time and nobody else uses it and I don't have any room mates or anything like that or any friends that were over today (cfish's join date). I am also on a WPA/encrypted lan.

Lately I been getting well over 300 km out of 15.5 liters on my 1500 Kawasaki nomad. Not great for a bike but not bad for this particular bike.

Umm ok, 8.7L/100km, or 32.469 mpg (UK gallons)

I didn't think round up .031 mpg would be a big deal

    Car: 2004 Accord I4
Fuel Economy Seen: 7.7 L/100km or 30.6 MPG (US)
Over what Distance: 626km (Calgary to Fort Sask to Red Deer)
Driving Note: speed very erratic from 110-150km/h, lots of gunning it/slowing down.

    Car: 1988 CRX Si
Fuel Economy Seen: 5.2 L/100km or 45 MPG (US)
Over what Distance: ~500km? (Calgary to Jasper)
Driving Note: speed was constant about 100-110 km/h.

How the hell do you guys get such good numbers even with bigger engines? I realize I don't drive efficiently, but still...

It makes me feel better to use Canadian/UK gallons

    (27mpg doesn't sound as good as 32.5)
