I filled up my brother's robin/subaru/rocky mountain bicycle today for $1.05
My rental Impala that I have for a week:
Cruising at 165 km/h - 8.5 L / 100 km
At 120 km/h - 7 L / 100 km
better than the G35...
My 95 Volvo turbo:
7.4L/100 (32MPG) @ 110km/h
6.5L/100 (36MPG) @ 140km/h
15.3L/100 (15.4MPG) Average per tank
I was shocked that my car was doing better milage at 140! Unless my Gauge is messed up.
87 Jag XJ6:
11.2L/100 (21MPG) @110
Jag is a thirsty bitch!

I just got 650KM out of my civic. Full tank is 40L.
22.1 MPG!
28 MPG if I reset the fuel calculator while coasting downhill in 6th whilst drafting a semi.

Current beast: E550 Coupe (M278)
Previous beasts: AM Vantage, E90 335i (modded + JB4 Map2), E39 M5
55L tank in my 240 with 2.0L SR Turbo
I get 10.9km per litre.
thats about 600 km to the tank!
usually get 550-575 km per tank (75 L) for normal city driving
but went on the beyond cruise and got awesome milage/L
spent almost 35-40 L and got close to 350 km out of that

Am I computing this correctly?

No. You want litres per 100km, so litres over kilometres. In this case it is 60L / 550km (x100km) = 10.91L/100km.Originally posted by Canmorite

Okay, now that I've just filled up, I have some numbers for my car.
Car: 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i hatch
Fuel Economy Seen: 8.2L/100km or 28.68MPG (imperial)
Over what Distance: 667.5KM
Driving Note: All city mileage, Driving Miss Daisy style (ie: no speeding, no heavy acceleration, shifting at 3000RPM except in gears 4 and 5, coasting on neutral whenever possible).
I wonder what else I have to do to get 8.0L flat! Hahaha
I forgot! I actually don't give attention to the fuel I'm using . . . What important to i that I can get on my way . . .Anyway I don't usually go put. I'm love to stay at home.
I've rarely taken the V on any decent trips, only drive it in the nice weather and mostly spirited city driving. Lowest I've seen (instantaneous reading) is 8L/100km cruise set to 95km/h on Hwy 3 in BC. Highest I've seen is WOT, its.... gulp..... 49L/100KM But more relevent, 300km up the highway keeping up to a BMW and MB flying past everyone 20L/100km, then the return trip cruise set to 120km/h got me double that, 10L/100KM. Since getting the car my average is 18L/100km
Its definetly a thirsty car, and drinks 94 when I can find it. Wich is why I drive my Beretta's as daily drivers they get 26 and 31mpg on the highway, V6 auto and 4Cyl manual.
7.8L/100km from Cranbrook to Nelson in my 2007 Impreza 2.5i, going 110 to 125 with a few high rev passes...could probably get it down closer to 7.1L/100km (ie 40mpg) if the speed limit and no passing was involved.
Car: 2000 Toyota Echo Automatic
Fuel Economy Seen: 58mpg US 3.99L/100km
Driving Note: Speed limit.
Went from Calgary to Moosamin Sk 976K topped off the tank with 39L of gas.
Car: 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5L AWD
Fuel Economy Seen: 30mpg US 8.0/100km
Driving Note: City Driving, short shifting to speed limit and using cruise wherever possible.
53.2mpg spokane to calgary. Honda Fit 1.5vtec automatic
I do mostly highway driving since I use my bike for basic groceries and short commutes.
On my C5, I'll get 7.3L/100km (~32MPG) and I'll get 30MPG on my Legacy GT. Both use 91 octane.
I got my personal best this weekend! Made it all the way to Vernon before I had to fill up. Went ~128km/h until the park, and then ~105km/h after that.
9.9L/100km!
