Default LF: A place to buy decent quality roller blading wheels?

Like it says. I want to find some good quality wheel/bearings at a decent price. Either local or online!

eBay is your friend...there's lots of them on there and they're way cheaper than what is available here...especially for hockey wheels.

Plus, you get to pick your size and the hardness - the chain stores like sportchek are really restricted when it comes to that sometimes...and the higher end stores cost too much.

Can you recommend some? Just as soon have really hard ones and I can use 82mm.

SportSwap is liquidating everything. Saw lots there today at the Southland Drive location.

Are you looking for rec wheels or hockey ones? And are you looking for wheels you can use outdoors or do you only really blade indoors?

I want outside wheels that are hard and fast.No hockey just pathways scaring little kids.

I'd suggest you go with something with at least a hardness of 82a - you can go even higher up on the hardness scale (higher numbers = harder wheel) but going lower than that is probably going to wear out the wheel pretty fast if you're blading outdoors. Of course you sacrifice some grip and probably a little bit of performance with a harder wheel. If you're a heavier guy you'd probably wanna increase the hardness up a bit too.

As far as sizing goes...just get whatever you have right now to make sure you get a proper fit - and take a good look to make sure your front wheels and back wheels aren't different sizes...depending on the skate they might be in which case you'll have to buy 4 of one size and 4 of the other.

And I bought a set of ABEC-7 bearings off of eBay before my hockey season started...they cost me about $6 bucks for 16 bearings including shipping I think it was.
