Who do you think is the better athlete? Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps?

My vote goes Bolt. Phelps can't swim on land, but Bolt could probably run on water.

Yup I tried to watch the women fight yesterday....it's more fun to watch at local clubs. But I turned it on since my kids are both into martial arts, it's always good to watch and learn. I had to flip channels it was so pathetic.

I'd have to go with Bolt as well. While it seems crazy to pass up on the guy with 14 gold medals, but sprinting doesn't offer the same chance at medals as swimming. What Phelps did was amazing, what Bolt did was amazing, but with Bolt I see a guy who could be a world record holder at 100m, 200m and 400m and that is absolutely incredible. Very few sprinters can be a 100m/200m runner or a 200/400 runner, but he could destroy the competition in all three even if he will only focus on the former.

So in short, slight edge to Bolt simply because I don't think Phelps could doggy paddle the last 50m of one of his races and expect to win let alone set a world record.
