I check out the Blackberry blogs every day. It was suppose to be the 25th but now dates are being thrown around all throughout August.

Supposedly on the 25th is when we will be getting press release about it

The Aug 25 delays may only be for the US on ATT according to BGR. Something with overheating and ATT not "certifying" the phone for sale with the heat problems. Not sure about Rogers.

A buddy at work already has one.. but its a Rogers issued demo.. quite nice, although its a little thicker then I'd like. (Thicker then the curve)
Screen and keyboard are awesome though....

Not by much though eh? I really like my BB Curve but would be willing to get a bigger/thicker phone if it isn't a huge difference. From the pics it looks minor - much like the BB 8800

Yea from pictures it looks to be pretty much the exact dimensions of the 8800.

The size isn't really an issue since I have the 8820 now. I am on contract for 2 more years, so what are my options? Is my only option just buying it straight out from rogers? or can I upgrade somehow?

I've been waiting for this phone for quite some time. I was given a tentative date of "sometime early in August". The July 25th date has slipped (as did the original July 18th date) due to an issue certifiying the phone with the Roger's network or so I was told.

Either you can buy the phone outright through Rogers or you can extend you're contract with them.

This will be available on CDMA, just a matter of time. As with the 8800 back when they were first released. Think I'm gonna sit this one out and wait for the 8300's equivalent to come out, or the Thunder
