Just figured I'd give everyone the heads up to look at your nearest liquor stores and post up the price, sounds like most places are around $12 bucks for a 6 pack.

I love that stuff. I've always wondered why they didn't sell the originals in Canada. Last time I was in Montana I brought a bunch back.
How is this stuff anyway? I've never had any (dont flame me, Im no where NEAR a liquor store that would sell this stuff)

This has been my go-to in the USA for a while, but I wonder if it'll taste less special now that I can get it every day?
On a slightly related note, bought some of the widemough Aluminum bottles of MGD today and noticed that they are imported from USA and 4.7%. I swear the MGD that you buy in bottles and cans here is brewed under license by molson or someone up here in canuck-land and is 5.0%. Anyone know for sure if those are really different beers?
Drank a couple too many, so I'm not able to drive back to the liquor store to check today.

beer does not translate well across the border, either can to usa or vicea versa.
However, if this is one of those rare instances that it doesn't change, I will be all over this.

MGD is only brewed in the states and Molson has the import rights. All the bottles and cans are 4.7%.Originally posted by ExtraSlow

The coors banquet is also imported from the states so it should hopefully taste the same.
Yea I hope its the same coors banquet. If it's imported from the states, I don't see why it would be any different.
Oh.
Emm.
Gee.

It's just a crappy schwizz beer, really no different than any of the other crap beer you can buy everywhere. In a blind taste test, most people wouldn't know the difference between Bud, MGD, Coors, etc.
Also, rated a "poor" on beer advocate http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/306/1276
