Where's the best place to get some exhaust for a civic? I've heard of Impressions, a buddy went there and got his Integra done. Also, can I get away with removing the cat? we had Air Care in BC, which sucks.

Talk to any of our sponsors, they can hook u up.
And no you don't need to have a cat, but it would be nice to have it for the enviroment.
On most new cars that are naturally aspirated, there is generally very little gain to be had by removing your cat.
Drag racing is for fast cars. Solo 2 is for fast drivers.
On this topic but for a completely different car.... '02 Acura TLS. What do you suggest for exhaust, I am concerned largely with the sound as well as look but would also like to get something of high quality that will give me some horsey. I've heard that for this car Comptech is the way to go, is this the case...
Oh yeah, and how much will I need to spend?
Can I just go with new muffs or is that a waste...

Comptech makes an incredible exhaust for the TL-s.

You'll gain very little by removing the cat on a N/A car. Plus, removing the cat makes the exhaust sound more tinny.

This is also what Gride TLS told me. Any idea how much a set up like this is going to give me as far as HP. Is it the best bang for buck or are there other mods I should look at doing first. How much will the whole set up cost from start to finish after install tax ect? Any idea?Originally posted by Ben

i removed my old clogged cat.... deffinately gave me some extra power almost half a second in the 1/4 mile..... best $75 spent.
just get a high flow cat for $100 and save the environment
when i went catless, the exhaust sounded like runny poo and it made my car stink even more than usual. a resonator helps tho
I have no Cat, No resonators, just a box...listen to my car and tell me how it sounds...mind you that is a 800 dollar mufflerOriginally posted by DonJuan

well with a new car it dont matter cause there already clean and safe burning but if you do get a muffler probally jus dont get one thats ridicusly huge
thats hardly the point, He wants the sound and "feel" (i use the term lightly) of more HP. Back to my point, where would one find a hi-flow cat of at least 2.25".Originally posted by -APEX-
