    I'm trying to get a feel for what sort of speeds everyone is experiencing...

    Could you all run this speed test and then post your speed and connection if you dont mind...just copy and paste your results like this:

    2002-08-07 01:13:14 EST: 2188 / 372
    Your download speed : 2188108 bps, or 2188 kbps.
    A 267.1 KB/sec transfer rate.
    Your upload speed : 372347 bps, or 372 kbps.
    Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!
