How do you figure either of these are sport compact cars
8. Adam, Lamborghini Diablo VT, 12.5@11X (Bud Park)
-TurboTony, GMC Syclone, (?), 10.81@129 (Bud Park)
-TurboV6, GMC Typhoon, (?), (Bud Park)
AWD BURNOUT!
the lambo is an import so it qualifies. The trucks got honorable meantion cause they are FUCKING fast.
Hey bud, a Lamborghini is built in Italy so it's an import (learn something every day!)Originally posted by Canadian 2.5RS

The Sy/Ty are "mini-trucks" with V6's so their closer to the import/scc scene than they are to the big block crowd. Their honarable mentions, and if you saw them race this past weekend, you'd see why they deserve to be.

Meh, theres 4cyl imports that are faster than the lambo on the list....leave it there for comparison's sake
Being in Canada, isnt most cars that arent built in Canada considered a import?
Yeah yeah, I know. I consider an import if it's built outside of North America, but that's me.
So Adam took his Diablo out. Does he still have that other Ferrari or the 20B FD running yet?
New Addition please: Chad Kilback 88 Daytona Shelby Z Spokane, Washington. Chad lives in Calgary, if that matters.

Hmm...if its an alberta list and that is included, think its only fair that it be corrected for elevation?Originally posted by LancerShelby

ok, took the lambo off and added it as an honarable mention. I think that's best.
damn, I didn't know a GMC Typhoon was that fast of a little suv.
I think it's fair because there are no rules posted or limitations.Originally posted by googe

I dunno, if I think it's fair if we only count Alberta tracks, don't you guys?
FYI Spokane's track is 2200ft, as is Bud Park 2200, Race City is 3300. (elevation)
To be fair... wouldn't you want to correct everything to sea level? And that would require humidity/temperature/altitude/etc for each time/condition that each car raced.. We could be just like Road and Track or Car and Driver magazines. It would also be nice to verify if altitudes posted by Race City and Bud Park are true altitudes or if they have averaged in any temperature corrections as I had heard rumours of.
Actually, I'm not sure that I care about discussions on fair and not fair, but I do care about what some guy ran at the local track vs. what I ran at the local track. If I ever raced in Spokane, I might care more I suppose. I actually wish there was a Race City thread seeing as I live in Calgary and have yet to venture to Bud Park near Edmonton. I guess my point is a bit of a moot point for my own complaining.... I'm just going to have to go to Bud Park just to see how many seconds off of the top 10 I am.
lol I didn't last long on that list!

If there was a Race City list, you'd be back on a list....
Good work to Ron, aka THEONE with his performance at Bud Park today. Ron takes top spot with an 11.3@124 mph.
