    Angry to much construction

there's way to many construction going on in this blood city this time of year, well anyways I'm driving home from work and I get passed by a construction water truck as he pulls away he launches a coconut size rock down the road which was stuck between his rear dual tires & it take out the front of my car. What a pain in the ass, that rock hit so hard it pushed my rad into the engine. I guess it could have been a lot worse, here's some pic's.

you can see the rock on the right, well just needed to vent.

I think it would be tough to get the city to pick up the tab. They should that is brutal. It may be worth giving it a shot but my guess is that you will get no wher with the claim. Let us know how it goes though.

that's bullshit. The city or the company that truck driver drives for should pay for it. I totally feel bad for you. I have so many dents in my rims from the potholes in the city. They take out the old concrete to put in new stuff, but they just leave it for weeks and months without putting anything in the holes they leave and people fuck their rims up on that bullshit. The city should pay for that as well.

And another thing. The amount of construction work is not the problem, it's how fucking slow they do it. I dont blame the average guy working for the city, but you NEVER leave it up to the city to do shit. Private businesses and contractors should be in charge. If the city contracted out the work it would be done in 1/4 of the time and at 1/4 of the price.

There is a reason why you are supposed to stay at least 30-100m behind a truck carrying shit! But i dont see them putting that on trucks anymore and that is really too bad. In europe i used to see it n most trucks but here not that much. Still that is beyond shitty and i really feel for you man! I would be fuming...and i drive a neon not a bimmer! I can only imagine how you felt

Happened to a friend somewhat, huge dent in fender from rock...insurance company fixed it for free, his insurance, no deductable and no increased rates...maybe it was his certain plan.

I always try to stay clear of gravel and construction trucks. Their tires are always full of rocks, and their loads are not always covered.
