You might want to check to see if your car has a microfilter for the oil. I know mine does. See if you can buy it at a dealership (I'm sure you can) and see if Mr. Lube knows how to replace if it you do bring it in with you.

I know someone who did the oil change at Minit Lube this morning ('03 330xi), and everything was great except they didn't reset the computer.

if you dont mind to wait .. do it at BMW dealer is better .. (or even cost less)

    7.5 L Oil .. already ~ $80 .. Oil filter and ring, another $25 ...

So $120 for everything isn't bad!

take it to minit lube ( i work there ) and we do everything. and yes we will have the oil and filter for it. i have done oil changes on a ferrari there (now don't tell me why anyone would bring it to me, but they did haha) so yes we can handle your bimmer

(and to baron o' funk tell that person to bring it back and we can reset it, i will be honest, that is the most common thing we forget to do with ALL cars is reset the light, but like it said, bring it back to us and we'll do it!)

My experience an unnamed quick lube place over torqued the oil filter housing and caused a crack, leak, and an expensive shampoo afterwards as well as replacement of the filter housing.

They did not reset the service either on the dash. I'd do it myself or take it to one of the small shops. Let me know if you need your code reset... I think I have the reset tool depending on the year.

    I'm in Calgary.

Yes but at the dealership, they install new wiper inserts into the wipers, add a fuel addictive, properly reset the computer (few can do this I found), as well give the car a decent check over, as well as top up and check the fluids, for $25 more I think it is, its well worth it.

push and hold the odo reset button on key-on

I'd never take my bimmer to a minute lube, hell I just worked on a G35 today that had a leaking differential because minute lube somehow found a way to put in 1.5 litres more then the rear diff takes (I measured what came out of the diff fill plug lol)
