The styling is ahead of its time just like the rest of the skylines were. Starting way back and totally obvious in the R32. Think about the drivetrain. manufactures are only now putting that technology into their vehicles.
You will see that in a few years they will place that same type of technology and aerodynamics into their cars.
If you don't like the looks now, I am sure it will grow on you.

a car with revolutionary styling? Tell me, what cars produced after the R32 were as boxy and bland as it (not counting the R33 and R34)? What is so special about the R32 drivetrain? Are you refering to the amazing super hicas system that everyone removes, or the "revolutionary" AWD system that is nearly identical to the 4mataic system mercedes used in 1986? How will manufacturers put vehicle-specific aerodynamics on their own cars?
