First I took apart my xbox steering wheel using these instructions.
Then I took the actual wheel apart. There is a small circuit board that the buttons are located on. I followed this photo of the circuit board to solder in my clutch pedal.
I hooked a red wire to D6 solder point, and a black wire to C5 solder point.

Then i ran all the wires back through into the wheel housing.
I then cut a small hole out of the side panel that does not come off (not the battery cover)
then i ran the wires through the hole, put some heat shrink tube on them and melted the half that comes out of the hole.
Once that was done I got my rockband drum pedal, cut the plug off, stripped the red and black wire of it's plastic and soldered the red rock band wire to the red wire inside the steering wheel, then the black soldered to the black.
I heat tubed the solder joints seperately then I wrapped the wire up in electrical tape.
Tomorrow I am going to cut the wire out and build a connector for quick release. I'm thinking of using the same style of phone plug that the wheel uses for gas and brake pedals, not sure yet and Im open to suggestions.
As well, I'm trying to find an up/down shifter that I can wire to this as well, does anybody know where I can buy?
Now I have to figure out a way to get all 3 pedals on to one base.
