Is anyone as pumped for this game as I am? I've been waiting 10 years since the end of fallout 2, and now it's supposed to be here October 7!

I'm pretty pumped for it, I've heard good things, although i've never played falloput 1 or 2, I know both were excellent games.

Play 'em dude. Fallout 3 should be a much more rewarding experience if you've got the back story down. Plus, they're fun as hell to play

As much as I love a good comp. game though, I'm pleased to see it hit the xbox, it's probably the version I'll pick-up

While any gamer should play F1 and F2 just because they are so awesome, you won't need to know what happened in them to understand F3.

Very true, but I imagine that some of the inside jokes won't make sense until you know who dogmeat was or what the cafe of broken dreams is

fallout 2 was easily one of the best experiences I've ever had a on PC, I have really high expectations for this game lol.
