First you have to roll it to the top of a big hill, then.......

actually, civics are really fun to drive, but most honda's that are lacking dohc + vtec are not that fast to start with. Any honda can become fast with lots's of money spend on turbo/super charger, but suspension/tire upgrades will probably help you be faster on a road coarse. a Cold air intake is probably the cheapest way of getting power for not too much money.

I take it that the civics that come with dohc/vtec are very expensive? I can afford a car that costs up to 14 or 15 grand. What car would you reccommend i look for? It's not like i JUST want a civic.. any suggestions are appreciated

Hehehe, I know a 'cheap' GSR... See my post:
    http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2219

Not so sure about SiR, I've seen them still going for around 23-24000.

I'd suggest a used Si. Sohc, but at least you got Vtec. Or GS/LS Tegs, DOHC but no Vtec. So I guess its one or the other...

GSR= top of the line lets just say for the Acura Integra if im correct
im not sur eon how much HP but i know its has the highest number
and SiR only comes in Canada as Ferio mentioned.
in the states they call it Si.
Si would be the top of the line model for the Honda Civic..power features i presume and highest number of HP

But also that means he's got $13k american to spend.
    That's about $20k canadian.
For that price range, you could easily get a 4th gen Prelude SRV, or Civic Si (SiR in Canada), or a GSR.
But if I had that much money to spend, I would automatically rule out the Civic (no offense to Civic owners). I think the GSR or Prelude would be a very good choice in that price range. Do some research, read up on all cars, and see what appeals to you most.
