Default Global fest *fireworks I have some questions

for those that went to this event I wanted to know,

are childern under 2 free of admission? I cant seem to see any thing regarding this on my ticket (that I bought for Aug 23rd Finale)

And can someone tell me from their experience what should I Expect? like what time I should be there, setting up seats/view for the fireworks, when does it start,

do I buy food there? what is there to do there exactly?

yes it will be my first time going to it, all I know is the fireworks competition.

    thanks

Well it is but not really the fireworks go into the sky but it's probably better to stay close to the entrance/exit especially at the end, ppl are like bulls. They run anyone and everyone over.

The food is expensive there just to give you a heads up and it's unhealthy foods.

    Hope this helps

I dont think seating is much of an issue as you can see the sky from...well...everywhere... the food is a little pricey and so is beer but damn those fireworks are crazy!

Last year I think they started at around 9:30...

People usually start pouring in at like 8:45.

Seating isn't usually an issue if you're there a bit early but parking there is pretty suicidal as it takes forever for the traffic control to let everyone out in order... So just take the bus from Marlborough area. BRING BLANKETS / UMBRELLAS / CHAIRS if you do not want to sit on the uncomfortable grass. Blankets because it was cold the last 2 times I went and rained as well.

Food there is pretty expensive but the corn is really good there!

    Hope that helped.
