Who arranges to get these cars? Aren't there usually waiting lists for such things?
bought my ticket... wow those are awesome prizes!
Just hangin' out
I saw that yesterday in the papers. I didn't know the CCX was legal here... pretty sure it's not. Must be a special deal they worked out with Transport Canada.
And yes if you're important enough, TC will let in cars that aren't allowed here. There were some euro only AMG's that made it in years ago.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
got my ticket
you never know lol I'll take any of the cars I'm a humble guy
Oddly enough, cars of high value (over $100,000) aren't all that bad to insure. Sure the price will be a couple thousand bucks but it's the deductibles that kill you. 5% is the standard once you get into those kinds of numbers. What this CCX thing worth?Originally posted by dj_rice

Yeah, it will go like this:
Hi, I want to get insurance for my new car.
OK, no problem, what kind of car is that sir?
A brand new Koenigsegg CCX.
Hm, what nut sac? Come again.
i'm curious... how does one that has been to a mathematics or statistics class in highschool forget all the information they've been given and buy a ticket? Buying tickets are a waste of money IMO. The price for a ticket can be better invested.
beautiful cars though I must say!

Most people, including myself, buy because of the charity it is raising money for. The prizes are a nice bonus.Originally posted by Casa

like said above the proceeds go towards finding a cure for cancer so even w/o prizes its still a win....and for arguments sake even if it wasn't for cancer its the same as buying a lottery ticket...the odds are against you but somebody has to win so why not you??
I'm thinking about buying a ticket but as a student I might wait till after I have some more disposable income and less student debt b/c its a great cause
to all those that have/will buy a ticket and best of luck in the draws!!

Come on guys... half of us couldn't afford a muffler for a Koenigsegg. As cool of a car as it is, we simply don't have the lifestyle that would warrant even keeping a car like that.
I'd sell it. Then invest the money. After a week or two.
