Thanks, it's done in Polka Trash style.
I really like that style. A lot of artists seem to hate it but kudo's to the two guys who pioneered it, I think it's great.Originally posted by big A

Hey guys,
I want to get a big eye on my inner bicep with good detail. Mostly black and white with some color. Any suggestions on which artist/shop to go to? My sleeve was done at Immaculate Concept and I'm ready for more!
Similar question as above I'm looking at getting a "day of the dead" or "sugar skull" style tattoo done, but not familiar with the shops here in Calgary. Where would be the best to go and get something like this done.
Haha hilarious. I asked that same question with the same reference picture ages ago.Originally posted by Kjonus

I got my sugar skull done by Melissa at Immaculate Concept. Scroll up a few pages in this thread and you'll find it. My entire sleeve was done by her.
I love Day of the Dead skulls. I'll be getting one of those eventually for sure. I think the hard decision would be whether to go traditional or not.
this is a long shot cause it's more of a girl style tattoo, but does anyone have water color tattoos/ know of an artist locally in calgary? I'm not super big into this style, so I haven't really kept tabs on who does this stuff here. Just so happens this shop in T.O. where I want to get future work done has an artist who puts out a lot of this stuff. It's for a girl-friend of mine.
Examples below.

etc etc
also if anyone is in T.O. id highly recommend checking out this shop chronic ink tattoo (tony hu, master ma, tristen for asian art) i like it cause it's more of a modern chinese style vs japanese traditional if you're into that kind of thing.

Some great looking ink in this post!!!
Can someone point me in the direction to any artists that work out of there own private studio? I don't want to go all the way back to BC to get a tattoo done lol
Trying to find someone that does mainly black and grey kinda deal.
Mike Peace at Strange World is my go to artist. He just posted this on his FBOriginally posted by l/l/rX

^^^ Mike is a super genuine dude with zero bad attitude... You cannot go wrong!^^^
Any reviews for Tim Ashman at Obsidian Rose?? I have a 3/4 sleeve booked with him this September.
James Jacobs has been recommended by a number of us Beyonders. For the first time in a long time he is finally taking new clients and you don't have to wait a year. He is at Enso Tattoo. I jet did two 3/4 sleeves with him, and he is absolutely fantastic.
2016 Tesla Model X
2018 Lincoln Navigator
2016 Porsche GT3 RS
I have a second tattoo in mind but it's a sleeve so I need to think this through. How's James Jacobs?
I'm thinking of going back to Bushido or Honor Bound (http://honorboundtattoos.com/).
I'll check their site for his portfolio.
EDIT:
I like James' work!

James Jacobs is really an awesome tattoo artist... I would not hesitate to have virtually any style of work tattooed by him!
