Got my parents names on my chest when I was in Vegas on Canada day after jumping off the Stratosphere.

Nah, it's not so bad in my opinion. Ankle and above heel has been the worst for me.

i don't think chest is bad at all.. what killed me is if the design starts creeping towards your armpit.

Couldn't they have designed it so they didn't have to tattoo over your mole?

Didn't really realize it at the time that it was going over the mole til after he was finished.

Is it viewable after the hair grows back or are you a swimmer?

In the future if you get anymore just keep it in mind. They can be susceptible to increased bleeding, the ink doesn't always stay the same as the tissue is different, as well the irritation and damage from the tattoo can also precipitate changes in the mole (ie carcinoma). You can still see most of yours so you should be able to tell if there were any changes down the road in color, size etc etc

Freckles are no problem, but I both tattoos I have had the artists have avoided any moles.

Most people that talk about "the worst" spots to get tattooed aren't that tattooed and get them in common places like ribs, back, arms, chest. There's way worse places on your body, stomach is ridiculously painful, so are knees and feet most people don't tattoo those spots.

If you're going to bitch about how bad your ribs or elbows were try getting your whole stomach done.

Mine on the low end of my stomach was brutal, then where it gets up close to my armpits was pretty intense as well.

I think it just boils down to how good a person's pain tolerance is. My stomach area didn't hurt. The shitty part about the skin over the ribs is it's stretchy and it's hard to time your breathing when they're inking the ribs. For me the most painful part was right around the hipbone, right where the cherry blossoms are (pic on previous page). I can't really remember the feeling but I know it hurt more than any other spot on my body

Speaking of Vegas I am going back again this October does anyone have any recommendations for shops and artist’s while their. Probably looking at a piece with 3-4hrs of work just firming up my Idea’s. So far I have looked around seen some reviews on yelp and checked people’s pages so far Bad Apple Tattoo specifically DJ, and Cliff at modern electric have been where I am leaning.

Family crest done by Shane deGraff @ Honor Bound Tattoos.

I was really impressed with the shop. Very clean and some amazing artwork. It felt more like a Heavy Metal art gallery. Everyone at HB was also extremely professional from the reminder phone calls to the initial consultation. Best experience I've had at a tattoo shop locally.

Had this done in 1 session..took about 1 hour 40 minutes. It was a little tickely.
