now i could barely tell the difference, apparently they changed the front bumper, and added some different trim options.

new one looks a lot better
looks good.. but definitely nothing to get excited about
Wish they would make an Si Hatch again like the EP3.... oh well
Looks more CSXish which is good IMO.
That probably won't happen anytime soon. The EP3 sold like crap in north america. Everyone wants coupes over hatchbacks it seems likeOriginally posted by revelations

Ya, no one wants a coupe with ample space in the back to throw your dog/bike/shit.....Originally posted by 88CRX

I'm convinced that people buy the name 'Civic' regardless of of the car or the styling so really who cares.
^ lol Probably true and seems to go with most of their products too.
The new bumper is definitely better looking but the changes are definitely pretty minimal and hardly seem worth the effort. Hard to believe this is the 4 year of that body style already. It seems to be aging well (even though I still think the Mazda 3 looks better).

Yeah pretty much. It doesn't even matter what it looks like. It's a Honda. It's a Civic, cheapest, most reliable car on the planet.Originally posted by heavyD

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
Honda is selling record # of Civics. The number of changes shows exactly that. Minimal effort.
wow, thaught that was a tsx for a second haha
the new bumper deffinately makes a difference for the better, now only if that dash was to get changed
It's not the 4th year, it started in 06 so this is the 2 yr facelift that happens with most honda models.Originally posted by blownz

like the 96-98 and 99-00 for the 6th gen
and the 01-03 and 04-05 for the 7th gen
this change for the 8th gen however, didnt even change the shape of the headlights, looks like people that want to update their civics can just get new bumpers.

06 - year 1
07 - year 2
08 - year 3
09 - year 4
I think you need to go back to elementary.
Actually, my 2 year old can already count past 4.
Maybe he can't add... but he is correct.
Honda does the mid-generation bumper/lights/other small crap update for every honda civic.
It's always only minor stuff.
^ I never said it wasn't a mid generation minor update. I said it was hard to believe it was in its 4th model year already.
I think its a big improvement over the last model... yet nothing to be excited about.
Still ugly as sin unfortunately.
The dash and front bumper are hideous
