if you're a brand new rider I wouldn't suggest going on a huge group ride. It can get pretty crazy when your in big packs.

Usually takes a good 3-4 hrs I think. I have too much fun on that loop that I forget about time.

I'm gonna try to make it. I did this loop last weekend with a few guys I met at a gas station... I couldn't keep up, but I still had a ton of fun. I've been riding less than 2 months, and my bike is a 20 year old v-twin

My advice to any newbies who end up going - push yourself, it's the only way you'll get better, but do not, under any circumstances put yourself in a situation that scares you. No one is going to think less you of you because you get to the rest stop a few minutes after them.
