FF: Pitbull

Have to get rid of my Pitbull in the next 36 hours. Was not a problem with him biting or being aggresive, the people around here are just being dicks.

He's Gold/Tan in color w/ a white chest.

Very freindly and personable dog. Is not fixed yet but could definatly use it to help him calm down. Lots of energy and very cute.

Will not let this go to anyone I do not trust and will come and visit him to make sure he is doing fine.

Can send home with nice fancy metal cage, nice dog bowls, food, treats, leashes. He is registered with the city and have all the paperwork that I have gathered but there is no previous paperwork of him from previous owner so I do not know if he is purebread. He has been to the vet recently and was in good health according to the vet.

Is not aggresive unless protecting the house when door bell rings. Looks very intimadating to strangers but nicest dog in the world. Has never attacked anyone since I got him.

How is he with other dogs/cats/kids?

Tried to remain dominant over other dogs (will not be so bad when fixed).

No idea about cats never had him around any.

I have only had him around one child at the grocery store, he was fine, but I would prefer a meet and great first with kids before any decisions were made.

What a cute fucking dog. I love pitbulls to the point where I actually housed a stray covered in battlewounds for a few months until I found someone to take care of him.

Did you sign any sort of pet agreement on a lease or anything that would allow you to keep it or was it sorta word of mouth permission from the landlord?

I can't even fathom giving away my girl...I'd be finding a new place (which isn't always do-able/practical, I understand). People piss me off.

The landlords said keeping the dogs would be fine as there was a dog there before, and everyone in the area has a dog. I guess once the people who live around here seen the dog, they have not stopped getting complaints. After 3 months of living there the landlords finally brought the paperwork by which clearly stated no pitbull's even though they agreed to it. So now that someone has complained about a harmless dog, the condo board has given me a 36 hour warning.

I don't want to give him away at all, I would rather take the bus to work everyday then get rid of him but this is what has to be done right now.

I have had this happen to me twice. I was living in garages and basements until i could find a place to live. Its not easy renting when you have 250lbs of dog.

should lend you my Rottie Mastiff crossed with a newf. Its not on the lease that you cant have a 150+ pound monster bouncing around instead of a 50lb pitty, see how they like that.

gretz I would love to do that to them Amazing how scared people are of dogs because of looks and reputation. No one will come anywhere near me with him yet the little palm sized dog that lives across the street, loves him.
