Can you transfer tickets to new buyers for next season or you keeping them for next year/playoffs?

Those are door prices. Those tickets cost $1500 less than what he's selling them at.

Where else are you going to get them for this price? Also, 7 year waiting list x $200 per year on hot house = $1,400 anyways.

That is correct. However I have thrown around the idea of selling my rights, but I've heard it's a 7 year waiting list to get back in, plus I love these seats. It would need to be a strong offer to get the rights for next season/playoffs.

So is selling the ticket for more then what you paid (season ticket face value) not considered scalping?

It's not, according to Calgary Flames rules. You're allowed to sell them at face value, and face value == door price.

It's a good deal for those that don't have season tickets and want to go to every home game. But really, the wait list is only 1-2 years long at this point, not 7.

My buddy has been on the list since '04 and he still doesn't have seats yet. Can't be only 1-2 years. I called the flames ticket office, and they say it is 3-5 years. I'll know how long it is when my hot house papers come. I just joined, so the wait in years will be my number in line divided by about 300.

According to the Flames Forum there are over 10,000 people who are members of the "Hot House".

with only 1,200 or so people letting their tickets go every year.

If you do the math, that's 8.3 years

I don't know for sure, but if I'm going to gamble it needs to be worth my while.

I suspect that there's a huge problem with how the flames are managing the old waiting list as well as the current "hothouse" list. Complete inconsistency when it comes to joining hothouse and getting tickets. I've seen guys sign up on hothouse when the season's over and getting offered season tickets in the middle of summer. Our office hothouse membership still hasn't got tickets yet and it's been since 05 (well whenever hothouse started). I think it's just random picking members.

That's just a rumor anyways. I mean if you're leaving the city for a few years, I'd sell the rights for your seats to someone else, make a killing, and wait in line again. It's not that big of a risk IMO. With the money in this city, there'll be tons of ppl that want to pay for instant gratification .

There's a beyond member (can't remember who) that got his season tickets in about a year after getting on hothouse.

I think Shadowz (or someone he knew) got hot house tickets really quick.

I'm on the origonal non-hot house waiting list, went on it a couple days after the lockout ended. They've tried to convince me to sign up for the hot house bullshit several time now.

It's still easy to get tickets to pretty much any game anyways so I'm not too woried about it.

2nd level, I believe its whatever you choose in the hothouse you can as well be offered once your name pops up for season tix. But since Ive had the tickets during seat relocation I can move anywhere within the dome as long as it is one pair or how ever many seats I own

I will accept offers for the rights to the tickets.

However only OrangeFreddy gets to see how good they are unless you buy a game from him...at face value
