gyoza (potsticker) wrappers

hi,

we are going to make this recipe for swiss chard ravioli, and instead of making pastry dough, it tells you to get Gyoza (potsticker) wrappers from 12-ounce packages that can be found at Asian markets and in the refrigerator section of many supermarkets. If unavailable, substitute wonton wrappers and cut into 3 1/2-inch rounds.

does anyone know if they carry these at T&T or any other supermarkets in the city?

does this sound like something you can use for ravioli dough? or is that recipe just plain crazy?????

I'm pretty sure you can score that at T&T. I wouldn't be surprised if Superstore carried them too.

It will definitely be a different texture than ravioli dough though.

Wonton wrappers are for sure at Superstore. I think they are cheaper there than T&T.

Anyhow, T&t for sure has them.

are wonton wrappers the same thing as potsticker wrappers?

Wonton wrappers are thinner and square. Potsticker wrappers are usually called dumpling wrappers, thicker and usually round.
