I saw one blow up right in front of me. He tried to race me in my SLK 320 but I didn't bite. He probably thought my car was an AMG. When he shifted into 2nd, it blew up.

Ahh yeas downshifting and missing, didn't somone just blow up a nice prelude the same way and show pics of it not too ling ago? But since this was a bimmer it probably did a Big Boooom!

It wasn't a missed shift (u can't really damage going from 1st to 2nd). It blew up because E46 M3's have a design flaw with it's bearings.Originally posted by DonJuan
