HI, I am looking to have this done to a car iam going to buy, i was wondering if anyone can recommend any good shops for this. As well as their opinions on whether it will make a difference or not. Thanks

...Don't pay someone to do Diamond Coat...from my understanding it is regular car wax that they charge you an arm and a leg for. I will post up more on this when I get a chance tomorrow.

It is usually 2 parts. The Honda Stealership tried to sell me this. Diamond Kote, as far as I know is a undercoating (potentially useful) with a over priced paint sealant and maybe some interior surface protectant

Complete diamond kote can include, undercoating, rust protection, fabric protection and paint sealant. The best thing you want is diamond fusion for your windshield, its amazing stuff! Expensive, but they warranty your window should it break. Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere else other then dealerhships that offer it

i would just do undercoating and maybe rust proofing if you keep your car over 10 years... the other stuff you can do yourself.

most cars come with a rust perforation warranty anyway...

Ya, just had my whole trunk repainted under warranty because of a tiny rust spot.

I though diamond kote was for windshields? Prevents chipping, cracks, etc.....?
Stupidity is a disease we all have, it's like a form of brain herpes. Outbreaks will occasionally occur.
