    Default Slide Show Movie Software

I've been traveling extensively the last 2 years and have chosen my favourite 500 photos that I'd like to toss in a slideshow, hopefully in movie format that can be played on standard DVDs. I shoot mostly in raw and most of my post-processing .jpegs are in the 3-4MB range.

I tried using some freeware that came with my laptop, MS MovieMaker and it completely degraded the quality of the photos when imported. Is there any other freeware out there or reasonable software for something like this? I have access to a MacBook in Calgary but am not overly familiary with the software available on them.

    Thx.

iDVD on the Macbook would be the easiest way to go. Toss the JPEG's in there, choose a theme and press BURN.

For DVD shows, people seem to like Proshow.

ProShow Gold is pretty good...has a tonne of features, fairly easy to use, and lets you output to many different file types (self running, dvd, youtube, avi, email, etc etc). Best of all it's pretty cheap too!

Yeah I've used ProShow before and I really like it. User friendly and great results IMO
