That's why you use the GH guitars on Rockband. Unless you're on PS3 of course haha.

I already exported all my RB1 songs. Can't wait!

I think I read somewhere on IGN that the new RB and GH instruments will be compatible on both 360 and PS3

For the "next gen" rythym games, all insruments are compatible with any game.

Sony put their foot down and made the game developers play nice.

There is a patch going out to Rock Band 1 tomorrow that'll allow guitar hero guitars to work with it.

As much as it pains me to lose x amount of money on songs I bought on RB1, I play nothing but drums and the GH4 drums look WAAAAY better than those. If GH4 instruments can be used on RB2 then they'll have sold me.

EDIT: Wait what? Drum and Cymbal add-ons? My wallet and I are crying, but mine are tears of joy.

it's too bad they haven't announced the cymbal addons yet. I'd really like to see them before I commit. Then again who am I kidding, I'll prob have both drum sets lol.

Does anyone know if there is a place in the city where i can get a replacement set of the breakaway cables for the guitar and drums? I think i lost my set when we rented a condo for skiing this spring.

Isn't there the "Ion" kit that comes with cymbals already? Only $300 US I think there was also a drum brain available for it too for playing outside of Rock Band.

If I remember correctly GH4 can accept a real drum kit, or the drum kit acts as a real drum kit, something nice...

I got my double kick switch in a few weeks ago and immediately broke one of my pedals during a warm-up song. I'm picking up the new pedal today, right after I find out that I actually want RB2 and didn't need to get any of this stuff. Feck....

totally psyched about the new songs. Would love wireless, but won't buy the new hardware to get it.

Looking forward to playing a great mix of new songs. Interested to see the new guitar hero as well, I hear there is a few TOOL songs, and a special TOOL stage setup
