Canada Post Issue

So ive got a parcel coming, it says "out for delivery" but that's been since 7 am, it's like 1030 pm now
All the delivery trucks arrive back at the depot at 7 PM. I've called and the people at the transport office don't know what's going on.

I did recently move, but a mail forwarding order with the post office was filed, and i've checked at the old house and nothing's been brought around there either.

Anyone got any ideas?

call them and tell them you will pick it up from the local post office or depot

They keep saying it has to be attempted for delivery first...then they can.

my shit sat at customs for six days then was released 3 days ago and is in edmotonon as of 2 hours ago. wtf!!

My tracking number says it's been in Calgary since yesterday afternoon. The only bit i find dodgy is that it says out for delivery and it's been like 15 hours. Shouldn't someone have come to my door? Or my old house by now for it?

sometimes the delivery drivers get lazy and "forget the parcel on the truck" and don't deliver. had that happen with other shipping companies

No, tommorow you'll get a delivery notice card in your mail to pick it up at your residential postal office.

Thank fuck, that'd be a lot easier. Im just kinda worried it's been stolen or misdelivered. But there are some customs fees on it, so im kinda hoping that'd sway any misdelivery acceptances.

Also depends on the person delivering your mail. That always happened to me and still does but a while ago for a few months the guy working would actually try and deliver the package and leave the notice on my door instead of just getting it the next day in my mailbox.

Fair enough, so if i just call the depot that's supposed to have the package right when they open, and tell them to just hold it for me, everything should be sorted?

I'm pretty sure Canadapost only delivers once and then they hold it so they should have it. They changed the rules recently so you need the delivery notice to pick up the package but you can ask if they have anything for you.

Yeah i guess ill ask, i've spoken with some ppl at the depot in the last 2 days about my parcel. I'm worried the notice might come late, or go to my old house and get to me late. Fedex all the way from here on in now.
