    Default Clicking Sound

    Posting for a friend:

    What could be the problem i start hearing a click click click sound when im driving on a straight/turn road?
    new 17s on the car....
    and how can i tighten my lugs... do i have to jack it up or not?

    cv joints for sure. And u dont have to jack it to tighten lugs

    u can check the cv joint/boot just by jacking the car up and looking at it...see if there is grease everywhere.

    replace the whole axel...i went through multiple cv's before i just got the whole dam thing changed.

    why would you just change the joints? why not the whole axle?

    if its a DSM car then its crankwalk or the lifters are starting to click

    could be lots of things... im gonna go with dirty lifter. if your lugs are tight enough to drive on already you dont need to jack up the car to tighten em
