Hey, I heard of a "95 GSR that was totalled, I could get for 1000, but does anyone know, are there rules about fitting older engines into newer cars? I want to put it into my civic, which is '99.

Its fine but you need a OB2 to OBD1 conversion harness since the motor would be OBD1 and the car itself is OBD2

yeah, i'm not worried about the technical side, just if there are emissions things about older engines in a newer model....I cannot wait to do this...

Yeah, that what I was thinking, I kinda thought about it overnight, and decide you could go and pick up a cheap CRX or something and throw it in that, I might do that, or just scrap the whole idea altogether
