Default Ridiculous properties on the market

    Ridiculars!

$925,000 for a Vantage Pointe condo that comes with a $3,250 monthly condo fee? I sure hope thats a typo.

The description says luxury, but this "penthouse" apartment looks pretty plain to me.

$1 mil dollar 1,000sq condos in Calgary?

I'd rather buy a new build $750,000 house in the urban spawl communities, get myself a BMW and drive like a douche into downtown. JMO though.

I don't see anything luxurious about it. For $3,250 per month for maintance, that better include some live-in french maids

Brutal..... who in their right mind would pay $1mill for a 1400sq.ft. condo.

The penthouse suits in all the other new downtown condos that have been for sale are bigger, much nicer and way cheaper.

It's actually an 1108.69sq ft condo. The rest is balcony. I like how many times the word luxury is used in the description when there's nothing luxurious about it.

Listings like this are just wasted money on realtor/listing fees.

I don't understand why the sellers from Vantage Pointe condo are all thinking they are selling the best. Their avarage asking price are at least 10%+ higher than what it worth for the current market. Not to mention VP is one of the cheapest condo that being built recently...

    must be a '08 realtor.

on another note.. there are some pretty small neat condos being built.. ~10-15 floors high. So many smaller ones to look at for people that are looking.

According to MLS it has no bathrooms either. For 3K a month you get to use the balcony to piss on all the poor people that can't afford a million dollar condo?

I'm on the hunt for a condo. How much should a buyer be offering in the downtown core?

Too generic of a question to offer an answer of $/sf.

Depends on building, location, amenities, year built, + many other factors.

In addition to that, there really are not many condo developments in the downtown core - 95% are in the beltline area.

    Fuck you seller.

    Gee I'm angry today.

    Fuck them.

Or HERE at Arriva, 1400sq ft in a MUCH nicer building, that is actually luxurious, for $649k and 400 a month condo fees.

    By core, i mean beltline.

The place i'm looking at is a late 60's concrete, over 1000 sq ft.

Now that is a nice place. Damn. Love it. I would consider selling my house for that.

I looked at a unit at Arriva yesterday. Didn't like it. All flash no substance, and gorgeous views of gravel parking lots.
