You need to understand that Canadian companies have to also pay all the freight, duties and brokerage fees etc to import rims which is one of the main reasons our "retail" prices are higher. You cannot fairly compare the ticketed price vs the ticketed price...

1010tires is the cheapest online canadian retailer, they are based out of Vancouver I think.

The trouble is that Canadian Distributors for tires have huge mark up. The tires all come from the same place.

Just get them shipped to that freight-holding company in Sweetgrass, MT. Drive down and pick them up.

You get what you pay for. If you buy locally you can usually get a good deal on install. Plus warranty is easier (if it matters to you).

Tirerack gives you a "shipped to your door" price which includes brokerage, duties, tax, etc. They can also mount and balance your rims/tires too.

And I bet they are really high quality

FWIW, a package that sells for $1000 USD (not U.S. made products) will cost you approx $1350-$1450 CAD + GST landed with all the incidentals paid. If that is your budget for wheels and tires for your '93 325is I would STRONGLY suggest looking at higher quality 17" packages. I wouldn't put a 19" "$1000" set on a car that was only half as nice as yours.

    Good luck
