anyone taken STATS 217 with dandong feng?

i heard his final was hard, and i know there isnt any practice exams for it since he doesnt give his old ones out. ive heard that his final screws over alot of people, and since he fails the lower 30% of the class even if you get a passing grade, im panicking!

any pointers on what kind of trick questions he gives? much appreciated!!

I was in Feng's 217 class last semester and yes, his final exam was brutal. I was doing really well acing the midterm and the quizzes and the final just screwed me over and ended up getting a B.

Just a heads up on what's on the final, there's gonna be fill in the blanks for the ANOVA analysis (I think it's the SST, SS something stuff lol, along with MST, probability, etc) He's gonna give you some of the values in the table but then there's gonna be blanks and you have to calculate those. Be sure you know the formula on how to calculate those It takes so much time, mind you. And the MC part of it takes up soo much of your time.

But overall, I think Feng was an awesome Stats prof, he has such good notes. Really
