What he said. The stock struts will be taking a beating, and seeing as how you got BMW to install the springs, I hope you have deep pockets when the time comes to fix any suspension related issues.
^ I'm pretty sure labor and parts aren't going to be an issue for him.
I'd be more worried about compromised handling. The BMWs handle great out of the box, and only doing springs without matched damping might result in reduced cornering performance.
Saw you driving the CSX this morning, whos driving the BMW
Nice new car!
I have a buddy with the H&R's and stock struts on his car while I have the Eibach Pro kit and Koni FSD combo on mine. Mine isn't quite as low but ride is waaaaay better and handling is virtually the same. I would seriously consider some different struts. My buddy actually just ordered the same set up as me for the winter.
Here is a pic of mine so you can see the difference in ride height:
i've rocked H&R race springs on almost on all my cars and never had any problems. my 88 crx si, no problems, 95 civic coupe, no problems. my 00 ITR for 2yrs, no problems. my 01 integra SE for 3yrs no problems (and just recently the shocks on that car were starting to sweat). Which i think in general is pretty good.Originally posted by civic_rida

But then i know guys that have had the same springs and had to buy new shocks after 6 months. Driving difference's, who knows.
Meh no need to worry. I used to work there and my brother is a tech there so i think i can weasal my way around things. I hope heheheOriginally posted by blinkme_210

This car handled great off the lot. But after putting these springs in WOW, reduced conering performance? more like IMPROVED cornering performance x 5. No it actually handles alot better than we had expected. My brother does all the dinan packages and all the aftermarket parts for the dealership and he was quite suprised with the handling of my car just with the springs alone. But he has also suggested me to get some different shocks later on down the road. But what do i know I'm a HONDA guy. new territory for me.Originally posted by richardchan2002

I use the CSX to drop off the kids in the morning and the wifey takes the beema.Originally posted by analbumcover

I like my cars really low. The car is quite a bit stiffer but i don't mind and neither does the wifey. We are pretty much immune to it, but yeah i was thinking of getting some koni's or bilstein's later on down the road. your car looks good!!Originally posted by blownz
