best white sandy beach in mexico??

ok so i've been to cancun, and I heard my friends say that PV and all the other places in mexico beaches are ugly and not white and sandy.
is this true?
or where else in mexico has a nice white beach?

been to cancun/mayan riveria and PV... cancun is 100x better. I think when it comes down to it, you wanna hit up the atlantic side not the pacific side. Cuba and dom. rep and barbados.. the whole bahamas has white sand too i believe.

east = white sand, west = dirt color haha,

dominican also nice... south = white sands too, punta cana was a blast =)

Belize and Honduras both have white sand beaches too, but those aren't Mexico obviously.

If you go to Ixtapa, one of the beaches there (Playa La Ropa) I think it was has white sand as well which is similiar to Cancun, although not as nice.

I am not familiar with other white sand in Mexico, but there is so much variety from beach to beach that they are all cool in their own way!

Absolutely beautiful beaches, just got back, I never wanted to leave that place, stayed at the Grand Oasis Mayan Riveria, make sure you go paragliding, and check out Tulum, and Xel Ha.
