I hate the lighting.. HDR is the bane of next gen.

Nice, good to see the cops are back. I hated NFS: Carbon but I still play NFS: Most Wanted on my Xbox from time to time (finishing up a 3rd career) and i still love it.

Interesting direction going with the more realistic film cut scenes instead of the more stylized cut-scenes from the previous two. Looks alright!

    Ugh, another clone.

I think I'm out on the NFS carousel. ProStreet was bad, I think the last "good" one was Most Wanted.
    In reference to Rob Anders:

i think you need to do a bit more research before you use "HDR" in any future sentences.
i think what you are actually referring to is the "glow effect" they use in the game.
has nothing to do with HDR.

^^^^^ Woah Mr. Enlightenment. Wanna turn that attitude down a tad?

I haven't played many of the recent versions, as I found they truly were starting to get very much alike without any major improvements on graphics, from what I saw. (Which in a game like this, is rather paramount.)

I do like the cops and robbers thing though.

They need to go back to the original stuff like 1,2 and 3. Porsche Unleashed was awesome great driving, great scenery, and pretty good graphics for its time.

They should focus on graphics and those and quit with these shitty story lines.

    Default 370Z!

370Z will be in NFS: Undercover. I missed the 350Z after NFS:U2!

    NFS:MW > NFS:Carbon

This undercover game looks like it can be good like NFS:MW
I prefer racing in the day. I wouldn't mind changing from night to day and back. But only at night seems like the level designers are being lazy, since it's too dark to see much of anything.

But I would love to see another NFS: Hot Pursuit game.
The last one NFS:HP2 was amazing. It'll be nice to race in super exotics once again and not have to go from econo cars to exotics.

PS: my favourite technique to get rid of cops in pursuit in HP2. Was to force them run into a wall and have them call for the wrecker to pick them up.

This will be an interesting one to try... NFS underground 2 was the last NFS i really got into. MW was alright too, but not quite as good in my book, and all other NFS games since have sucked.

I will give this one a try, but definately renting, or letting a friend buy it before I will.
