There is some serious shit going on with the dollar, no joke. its so abnormal that this rally scares you rather than excite you.


once gold hits 960 which I think it will now that it has broken the all important 920-925 resistance. I think the trading range is now between 960-920

personally I will be selling all my gold stocks and silver at that point and will convert everything back to CAD for that nice 15% ontop of my 40%


Then its sit and wait.

update. wow Japan index is crashing down 10%, forget about 1000 gold next year, hack we will see that this year at this rate.

I agree then again I think there will be some sort of rally leading up to election day. the real trend for gold is probablly happen in 09

I rather take my profit off the table now and wait

but gold spot is in US dollars so you're hedged nicely against our canadian dollar now. When the US dollar goes down gold will go up even higher and faster. Owning gold is win/win. I'd hang on to it.

With the favorable exchange, Canadian spot gold price is up to $1057.02/oz at this moment. We've still got a long way to go, panic buying hasn't even set in yet.

I dont think you will see 1.1 anytime soon, given the rate, everything is defying the law of gravity for the US dollar.

you would think 1.15 is a big level but it went thru that like it doesnt mean a thing. now we could see 1.20 in no time. (which I actually am hoping)

just because that would translate to near 20% when I move my stocks back to CAd funding. I havent done it yet since I'm waiting for my US gold mining stocks to pump up at least another 10% or so.

really waiting for gold to take right off to 950-960 then I will have it made.

As long as the American economy is in the shitter, the CAD will go down in relation to the USD.

I was at an RBC conference yesterday and they predict we will see 1.30 CAD/US.
